Write for us
We welcome thoughtful contributions about weekly rhythms, timekeeping, social customs, workdays and leisure. Send a proposal through the Contact page; unsolicited complete articles are not a substitute for an agreed pitch.
What makes a strong pitch
A useful proposal has a specific question, a clear angle and a reason it matters to a general reader. Tell us what the piece would explain, which examples it would use and how it differs from familiar advice about getting more done.
The approach we value
We look for precise, readable writing that respects differences in schedules and circumstances. A pitch should distinguish facts from interpretation, avoid unsupported generalisations and be useful without relying on professional advice, private information or claims the reader cannot assess.
How to send it
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial option. Include a working title, a short outline and a brief description of your relevant experience with the subject. We cannot promise a response to every proposal, and sending a pitch does not guarantee publication.
A week is more than a row of dates
The way we name, divide and spend our days carries a quiet history. We look closely at those patterns and what they make possible.
